Who We Are
Bo Tran, DMD
Dentist
Hello, this is Dr. Bo Tran. I grew up in Pleiku, Vietnam. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of California-Irvine and graduated from dental school at Midwestern University. Growing up, I didn’t have access to quality healthcare, and that inspired me to become a dentist so I could fill that need for others. I love dentistry because it combines my two passions: science and creating art with my hands. I also enjoy road trips, basketball and meditation, and my favorite procedures are extractions and root canals because they give patients instant pain relief. My goal for my patients is to treat each of them the way I would want to be treated.

Hygienist
I started as a dental assistant and continued my education in dental hygiene. I graduated from Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, CA. Received my AS degree in Dental Assisting. Then attended Carrington College in Boise, ID. Where I received my AS degree in Dental Hygiene. Also, a dual major in college. Graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelors degree in Business and a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. I have worked in the fields of general, pediatric and orthodontic dentistry for over 30 years. I love my career as a dental hygienist and consider all of my patients as family. You will find that I am compassionate, able to put my patients at ease and ensure a positive dental experience. I am very dedicated to the dental health care profession and making sure all of my patients feel comfortable and leave my chair loving their smile. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my husband and two boys, traveling and hiking.

Office Manager-Treatment Coordinator
Hi, I'm Nancy, the office manager. I have approx. 20 years experience in dental office management. I handle the scheduling for the office, all insurance and financial matters, patient treatment coordination and really any patient questions. I love to help and also to meet new people! While I love being organized, analytical and detail oriented at work, few people know that my pastime hobby for years has been studying people's astrological birth charts. I am an eternal student of human psychology and have learned a lot about myself through this field.

Hello, my name is Liz and I am the dental assistant here at Metro Refresh Dentistry. I have been in the field for over 7 years. I love what I do and, most importantly, love helping others. My good communication and interpersonal skills allow me to clearly explain procedures and answer questions in a way that is easy for patients to understand. Furthermore, my expertise in sterilization and infection control procedures enables me to be better perform my role. I love the outdoors, the gym, traveling, and reading in my free time. I enjoy watching sports and have been learning how to fix cars since childhood. I have an affinity for animals, and hope to one day have a farm that will house many of them in a huge backyard!
